Review
For my Son's 6th Birthday Party this year I planned out the activities and time. One of the games I chose was pin the Tail on Donkey. I played this when I was a kid too. The kids had lots of fun seeing who could get closest to Pinning the Tail on the Donkey while blindfolded. What I like was that it was a simple game, didn't require too much space (just about 2 feet of wall space), made the kids think as in trying to remember where the tail was, as the kid trying to pin the tail is blindfolded. I had kids aging from 3 to 8 at the party - some kids had special needs, but they were able to play along as well. We flipped the script in changing the game to the older kids helping the younger kids trying to pin the tail (team-work), We played the game multiple times so that the winner was the one that closest pinned the tail if they did not actually pin the tail and then, the one who managed to be farthest off the mark (gift for the effort of trying). This gift was presented at the end of the final game. This is a game that can be played by any age. It's a fun game that can be enjoyed by all. This was one of our spins for the winner... I flipped the script to having a sack of various gifts that I purchased from Birthday in a Box; the winner would reach in the sack and select a gift. I used a sack, so the kids would not know what gift they were selecting and the older kids helped the younger kids try to win too. The kids had fun in trying to figure out what other gifts (were in the sack) I purchased for the party that they could win. Pro --- It's a simple game and fun for anytime. Con --- The Blindfold because its paper - have to be careful not the tear it.
