Never received the piñata, they shipped everything else except the piñata and when I reached out to them they said they were sold out but they never told me until I asked about it
Item was very cute for our party. The only thing that we had a problem with was getting the stuff down in the wheel sections.
No pride in work
Monster truck piñata arrived and at first glance it looked great until I realized the stickers are have the words grave digger printed backwards. And u can tell the stickers were just slapped on like they didn't care what it looked like. It doesn't hold very more ch candy. The wheels are big and flimsy but aren't fill. They will most likely go flying off with the first whack of a piñata stick but no candy will come out until they bust open the body. Construction not thought out very well. Piñata stick and filler are as expected.
My experience was completely abhorrent. In the past I’ve used this site because I had one amazing experience about 3 years ago in which I made the mistake of procrastinating until the last minute in throwing together my twin sons’ birthday party. Desperate to see if I could pull it off I called the customer service number and was connected to a sweet lady who sounded like she was American and somewhere in the United States. She was nice enough to expedite my shipping and make sure everything went through for me smoothly and quickly. That was 3 years ago. With that experience I decided that this company was more than worthy of my business and I would patronize them happily every year for my kids’ birthdays. After my most recent experience with them, NEVER AGAIN! I placed an order for a piñata kit 9 days before the party. To ensure that I would definitely have it before the party I even paid an ungodly amount (over $50) for “next day” shipping. Then I got the estimate for my packages arrival...I placed my order on the 5th (a Thursday) and it estimated arrival on the 11th (a Wednesday). I was obviously confused and irked as to how that computed considering how much I spent on shipping but I just accepted it and moved on. The 11th came and no package. I called the call center (which is clearly somewhere outside the US since everyone I spoke to had thick accents that made them hard to understand) the next day and I was absolutely infuriated to find out that it HADN’T EVEN SHIPPED YET!!!! Other than a weak half hearted apology and a half assed guess that it would be shipped that day (on the 12th) that’s all they were willing to give me. I pushed the customer service rep and he finally offered to refund me half of my shipping and that it would “probably” be shipped that day. I said um no that’s not gonna work. I need my entire shipping cost refunded since it didn’t arrive on time AND it still hasn’t even been shipped yet and this NEEDS to ship today. It was already the 12th and the party was on the 14th. So after “checking if he could”, he agreed to refund my shipping cost and make sure my package shipped out that day to arrive the next day, the 13th. Shockingly it DID NOT arrive on the 13th. So I had to call again. IT STILL HAD NOT SHIPPED!!!! I ordered on the 5th, it was supposed to arrive on the 11th, and on the 13th it had not shipped still when the party was the next day and I had paid over 50 bucks for “next day” shipping!!! I asked to speak to a manager repeatedly and ended up getting the run around from them for over half an hour before they finally put me on with a manager. They gave me no less than 3-4 different excuses as to why it hasn’t arrived yet which I told them would’ve maybe been applicable or even partially acceptable if it was just asking a while to get to me but since it still hadn’t even shipped yet we’re complete and total BS and excuses. When I finally spoke to a manager she explained to me that there was no way that it would get to me by tomorrow when I would need it. So we decided to just cancel the order and the money would be refunded. I was seething but at least the ordeal was over. Or so I thought. I got a call about an hour later from them saying that they couldn’t cancel the order cuz it had finally shipped so I would be receiving the package the next week....AFTER THE PARTY! She very graciously (insert extreme sarcasm here in case you can’t tell) told me that I was welcome to keep the piñata and they would still refund me my money. So I got to keep a useless piñata that arrived the Monday after the party in a beat up looking box and that I have no idea what to do with now. Lucky me. I will never ever again use this ridiculous company.
