What You'll Need:
- A large plastic bowl
- A picture of Cookie Monster
- Three bean bags or three toy cookies
Choose the area where the game will be played and mark the floor with a strip of masking tape to show the children where to stand. Set the bowl about five feet away from the masking tape, or whatever distance you think will work best for the age of your guests. Tape the picture of Cookie Monster to the front of the bowl.
At the Party:
Tell the children that Cookie Monster is hungry and their job is to feed him. Have the guests form a line with the birthday child first. Let each child toss three 'cookies" towards the Cookie Monster bowl. If you wish, have a Sesame Street sticker ready to put on each player as they finish their turn. Do not keep score, and let the children have several turns tossing cookies into Cookie Monster's mouth.
