The only thing cuter than a baby bear is your little one. They’ve got so many things in common. Besides both being cute, they’re cuddly and they probably have their own signature “I’m hungry” growls. And just like a good mama or papa bear, you’d do anything for your cub. That’s why your little one deserves a celebration that’ll make everyone go wild!

Looking for an unbearably cute party idea for your beary adorable little cub? If you're planning a baby shower or first birthday for a special little boy, then this Birthday Bear Party is the perfect blend of sweetness and modernity. You won’t have to head out into the wilderness to bring these cute and cuddly bears to your celebration. We’ve got all the baby bear party supplies you’ll need for your beary cute birthday party.

Birthday Bear Party Invitations

Start the birthday surprises early by sending guests these Bear Popup Invitations. All the party details pop up from the cute bear face cover.

Birthday Bear Party Decorations

Take your décor inspiration right from the source … napkins, plates and cups.

  • Layered table covers make an impactful base. Start with a Silver Solid Tablecover and top with a Birthday Bear Plastic Tablecover. For the final touch, we created a gray and white striped table runner from wrapping paper.
  • Cover an insulation board (from the home improvement store) with gray bulletin board paper. Add white foam core clouds and this Birthday Bear Ribbon Banner. (TIP: make the banner stand out even more by backing each pennant with dark teal cardstock.)
  • Set stuffed bears center stage and surround them with grand gray trees (cut from foam core) and majestic mountains (made from poster board). (TIP: attach mountains to the background board.)

Bring more of the “beary” cute décor details to the kid’s table with coordinating centerpieces and tableware.

  • Place a Birthday Bear Dessert Plate atop a Birthday Bear Dinner Plate then complete the set with a Birthday Bear Luncheon Napkin and Birthday Bear Cup.
  • For a quick and easy centerpiece, remove bear shapes from a package of Birthday Bear Dizzy Danglers and attach them to bamboo skewers. Secure skewers in a metal pail with floral foam and cover with White Sixlets Candies.
  • Keep spills to a minimum by serving beverages in these Woodland Party Bear Molded Sipper Cups.

Birthday Bear Party Food

Delight little guests by offering tasty thematic treats.

  • Bear Claw Cupcakes
  • Polar Bear Oreo Cookies
  • Bowls of Berries (for a non-sugar option)
  • Bear Print Cookies
  • Goldfish, Honeycomb Cereal, Teddy Grahams and Blueberry Striped Candy Sticks

Birthday Bear Party Games

There are all kinds of fun activities for your little guests to get “bearied” in, including games like “Going on a Bear Hunt” and “Teddy Bear Tails” (a version of Duck! Duck! Goose!). You could also play “Bear Balloon Badminton” in which guests bat a balloon to each other using bear paddles made from Birthday Bear Shaped Dinner Plates and jumbo craft sticks. The balloon feature makes this game appropriate for indoor play.

For outdoor party fun, take little guests golfing. Set up some “beary” easy holes in the backyard and let party goes play through the course using this Golf Play Set. (TIP: construct “holes” using flower pots from the dollar store and decorating them with Dizzy Danglers bear shapes.)
