Comments about Birthday in a Box Train Cake Pan:

We used this Train pan to bake a cake for my son's third birthday party. He's a huge Thomas the Tank fan and this cake was perfect.

Advice on using this cake pan --
Use cake baking spray, not the standard butter and flour method. The cake will come out cleaner and is easier to decorate than with flour in spots.

Let the cake cool uncovered for at least 4 hours before you decorate the train cars. The frosting and decorating is much simplier when it has cooled and is a little harder on the outside.

I followed someone else's advice and piped on the icing instead of using a knife or spatula. It allowed me to get the frosting just where I wanted and showed off the details of the train design.

After we put on the basic frosting on the cake, we added my son's name to the train car and added it little candies on top of the car.

This train cake was super cute! My son has already asked me to make another choo-choo cake!
