Comments about Birthday in a Box Butterfly:
24 girls arrived at the park to play pin the wings on the butterfly and be part of a butterfly race using plastic butterflies and butterfly nets. The cake was in the shape of a butterfly, and all the paper goods and items in the goodie bags were butterfly related. The girls painted ceramic butterfly shaped pots. We put a list of plants that attract butterflies in each goodie bag. We also served butterfly shaped cookies and decorated with butterfly balloons. The birthday girl wore a butterfly shirt and shorts as well as the butterfly headbangers. The invitations and thank you notes matched the napkins and paper plates.Comments about Birthday in a Box Butterfly:
My daughters 4th birthday party was a big hit. Birthday in a box is awesome. I was impressed again with the ease of shopping and the care in packing and the quick arrival of my order. We picked a butterfly theme and everything was perfect. The pom pom antennas were a bit hit. They got lots of attention and guests kept asking where I got them and how cute they were. Just another satisfied customer that will return for more with the next event.Comments about Birthday in a Box Butterfly:
I decided to have a Butterfly Birthday Party for my daughter's 3rd Birthday. I think I had as much fun putting it together as the kids did at the party! We're on a tight budget, so I got to be really creative on the decorations and party favors. The decorations were all made by me. I cut out dozens of butterflies and flowers (Using a very simple hand-drawn shape). Then I strung the butterflies and flowers on a ribbon and created my very own butterfly garland. I then cut out large butterflies and decorated them myself and hung them all around the house. The games for the kids included a butterfly hunt, the Elefun Game, and a Pinata. The butterfly hunt was a HUGE hit. We purchased a cheap bag of butterflies online and found butterfly nets at the dollar store. My husband "hid" the butterflies all around our backyard - even in the lower branches of the trees. The kids each got a net and found butterflies. It worked out so well that the kids hid the butterflies again and again! For food, I made butterfly shaped PB&J sandwiches, Butterfly Pasta Salad (using bowtie pasta and fresh veggies), and cut up fruit in a big watermelon. The plates and napkins came from Birthday in a Box - super cute Butterfly pattern - of course! For the cake, I baked a simple round cake and decorated it with white icing and stacked cupcakes on top. I then used butterflies from the floral department to make it look like they were flying around the cake. The party favors were a big hit and super easy! I cut out a butterfly shape for each child with 2 slits in the middle for a lollypop. I dipped the tops of ice cream cones in white chocolate and sprinkles. We filled each cone with candy and placed them in a clear bag with the butterfly lollypop. I was happy about how cute everything turned out and it was very easy to put together. (I'm a working Mom, so my time is limited). My daughter is still doing butterfly hunts and doesn't want me to take down the butterfly decorations yet!Displaying reviews 1-3
