Comments about Birthday in a Box Tea Party:
It was mostly little boys that showed up to my 3 year old daughter's Tea Party birthday... And we had a freakishly HOT day so the feather boas didn't get much use... Although my daughter and her girlfriends are going to have those for a while. It's a good thing the boys were here to break that pinata!!Comments about Birthday in a Box Tea Party:
For my daughter's third birthday, we hosted a royal tea party. Emily was the queen and requested all of her suitors to join her; ladies wearing dresses and young gentlemen wearing button-up shirts. We used a coffee table with a tablecloth because it was the perfect size for the kids. It was very long and Queen Emily sat at the head of the table. The table was decorated with several tea sets and we used iced tea so the kids wouldn't harm themselves with hot tea. We had scones, muffins, and cute little cookies for the children. There were white gloves & play jewelry (from beads and crowns to glam rings) laying all across the table. We played "Pass the Teacup" and gave out treat bags filled with even more glam jewelry and themed candy (like ring pops). It was so much fun and Queen Emily loved getting the opportunity to be singled out!Comments about Birthday in a Box Tea Party:
Games 1. Pin-the-garden-hat-on-Sara (I put a large photo of Sara on a piece of poster board and cut garden hats decorated with flowers out of construction paper) Played like pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey. Prize: straw hat for each girl 2. Sugar cube and spoon race Prize: ribbon for hat 3. Flower gathering (I spread fake flowers all over the yard and gave each girl a bag for the flowers they "picked" from the "flower garden"). Prize: girls arranged the flowers around the brim of the hats. 4. Tea bag toss (I decorated 2 buckets to look like the tea cup and tea pot from the invitations. I then made name tags for tea bags. Each time a girl got a tea bag inside a bucket, they got a doily and colored pieces of paper. Crafts While the aunts hot glued the ribbons and flowers to the garden hats, we accordian folded the pieces of paper and attached pipe cleaners to make butterflies. Then we used glue sticks to glue a doily to one piece of paper. After accordian folding that and stapeling the end, we had fancy lace fans Lunch Tea sandwiches cut with cookie cutters into fun shapes, fruit salad, cut veggies, lemonaide and ice tea. Beverages were served in glass punch cups. Cake was a large pink flower. Decorations Antique silver tea service was displayed on a table by the front door. Additional silver tea pots holding flowers were centerpieces for the girls' table and the moms' table. Decorated driveway with chalk tea set like on the invitation and plates. Final game Watering can relay race. Prize: each girl took home a real plant Going home gift: I printed out coloring pages from the Birthday in a Box web site and other sites, rolled them up, and tied with an orange ribbon to match all the invitations and plates. Thank you note: Included group shot of all girls and their garden hats. P.S. I only buy invitations where I can get matching thank you notes. I believe thank you notes are very important!Comments about Birthday in a Box Tea Party:
I ordered the deluxe tea party set ... and it was more than a blast for all the little 4 year old girls. It was amazing ... the gift boxes, flower making kit, pearls, hats, ... especially the loot boxes ... amazing!!!Comments about Birthday in a Box Tea Party:
This tea party was for my 4 yr old!! Everyone was asked to dress for tea and the little girls were so cute! Very vintage with boas, gloves, play rings, and big hats! There were tea sets out on table and decorate your own cookies too! Centerpieces were flower suckers, you can put in vases or buckets filled with candies. I set stuffed animals all around. You could also play "Im a little tea pot" or "Pin the tea bag on the kettle". We ran out of time however!!Comments about Birthday in a Box Tea Party:
Hi, we are from the UK and my little girl has never visited there, we moved over here when she was 10months old.. We decided to visit a Tea Parlor in our area so that she could experience the British Tea Party...it was a huge success!! We ordered all the party bags and thankyou notes from Birthday in a Box,,great service!!Comments about Birthday in a Box Tea Party:
My daughter loves to host pretend tea parties with her friends and stuffed animals, so we decided to throw her a real tea party for her sixth birthday. The supplies I ordered from Birthday in a Box were SO cute!! We got most of our basic supplies here including teapot-shaped plates, napkins, a tablecloth, invitations and pink streamers. I made a variety of sandwiches and cut them out using heart-shaped cookie cutters. Most of the young guests didn't like hot tea, so we served iced tea and fruit punch in teacups. This party was a huge hit with my daughter and her friends thanks to Birthday in a Box!Displaying reviews 1-7
