Mermaid Race

What You Will Need:

• 1 heavy-duty drawstring bag per guest to be used as a “mermaid tail”.
• One tiara per guest.
• Two belts per guest.

During the Party:

Have each guest step into their "mermaid tail". Secure their tail in place with a belt. Wrap a second belt around their knees to create a fin.

Have the children lie down on their bellies on one side of the room. Scatter the tiaras around on the other side of the room. On the command "Go", children “swim” their way to the other side, pick up one of the tiaras, and race back.
