Create a Scarecrow Contest

What You’ll Need:

• 4 broomsticks
• A variety of old clothes, hats, pillowcases, scarves, newspaper, and tin cans

1. Divide your guests into four groups, and give each team a broomstick.


2. Lay out a variety of old clothes, hats, pillowcases, scarves, newspaper, and tin cans.


3. Let the players know they will have 15 minutes to create a scarecrow using the items provided.


4. Award prizes based on the scariest, funniest or most creative scarecrow, and then display all the creations outside.
