Letter of the Day Game

How to play:

The letter of the day is the first letter of the birthday child’s name. Explain to the children that they need to think of words that begin with this letter. Set a timer for four minutes, and write down all the words that the children can think of before the timer rings. You can play this game several times using a different letter each time.

For children five years old and up, you may want to divide the guests into two teams. Set the timer and see which team can think of more words.
