Chef's Water Relay

What You'll Need:

• 2 Liquid Measuring Cups
• 2 Tablespoons
• 2 Bowls (must be big enough to hold a cup of water)
• Masking Tape
• A Small Table

1. Mark a start line and a finish line in the playing area, about 15' to 20' apart.


2. Place a small table at the finish line.

1. Divide the players into two equal teams.


2. Have each team form a single-file line.


3. Place a spoon and a bowl containing one-cup of water at the head of each team's line.


4. Place the two measuring cups on the table at the finish line (i.e. one cup for each team).


5. To start, the first player in each line fills his/her spoon with water from the bowl, walks or runs to the measuring cup, and dumps in the water.


6. The player runs back to the line and passes the spoon to the next player, who repeats the process.


7. The game ends when one of the teams completely empties its bowl.


8. The team with the most water in its measuring cup at the end of the game wins.
