Lip Gloss

This lip gloss recipe makes one small container.

Ingredients:

• 2 tablespoons solid shortening (like Crisco®)
• 1 tablespoon fruit-flavored sweetened powdered drink mix (like Kool-Aid®)
• A small round container

1. Mix the shortening and powered drink mix together in a microwave safe bowl. The mixture will be smooth when ready.


2. Microwave for 30 seconds on high power. The mixture should become a liquid.


3. Pour the liquid into a small clean airtight container.


4. Refrigerate the container for 20-30 minutes or until the liquid has become firm.
