Planning & Invitations
One of your first decisions will be where to hold your Fall Harvest party. If you'd rather not host the party in your home, consider holding the party at a nearby park, recreation center, or community clubhouse. For other suggestions, take a look at our When & Where to Have the Party article.
What do I need for the party?
Basic party supplies include solid-colored tableware such as plates, napkins, cups, cutlery, tablecloths, streamers, and balloons. If you want to purchase themed tableware instead of solids, consider one of our Farm Party Themes.
To help you with your shopping, take a look at our Suggested Party Supply List. You may not need everything on the list, but you can use it as a guide. For additional party planning tips, our Party Planning 101 Guide includes cake ideas, party etiquette tips, a printable guest list, and more.
Fall Party Invitations
Guests love to receive creative invitations, which help to build excitement before the big date. If you have the time to make your own invitations, here are a few suggestions:
Purchase colorful paper cut outs of pumpkins or leaves and arrange them on a piece of cream colored cardstock. Print the invitation details inside the leaves. Inside the largest leaf print “Come to a Harvest Party” and then print the date and time in other leaves. Make color copies onto cardstock to create the number of invitations needed.
If you’d rather not make your own invitations, but still want a personalized touch, consider our Farm Friends Personalized Invitations, which include all the party details for you. We also offer Farm Friends Invitations that you can fill in yourself.
Make sure to seal your envelopes with fall themed stickers to add a festive touch.
