Dear Christina,
I want to tell you about the wonderful decorations the elves are putting up. They really make the North Pole come alive with the Christmas spirit. Just last night the elves finished decorating our enormous Christmas tree and topped it with a brilliant gold star to remind us of the star that guided the Wise Men many years ago. Soon they’ll string the lights and set up the Nativity scene. It won’t be very long until I can see all of the beautiful decorations at your home, Christina!
The reindeer are busy practicing their take-offs and landings to get ready for our big trip. Rudolph wants the team to fly extra fast this year, so he’s been holding races to get the reindeer into tip-top shape. Last week Dasher and Dancer thought it would be fun to race each other flying backward, but Dasher tripped right over Dancer at the finish line! Oh Christina, you would have laughed so hard if you could have seen them!
I’ve been looking over my list of who’s been naughty and nice this year, and of course, I am checking it twice. Christina, I’m happy to say that your name is on the "nice" list! Since you’ve been so good, I bet Delaware will be one of the first places we visit this year!
Christmas is a time for celebrating family, the joy of giving, and God’s gift of Jesus. We’re looking forward to visiting your family with our gifts this Christmas Eve. I know you’ll be sound asleep when I arrive, Christina, so I want you to know that the elves, reindeer, Mrs. Claus, and I wish you and your family a very merry Christmas.
Love,
Santa
