Dear Anna,
You wouldn’t believe what happened today. I just stepped outside to check on my reindeer and was hit in the chest with an enormous snowball! Little did I know I walked right into the middle of a reindeer snowball fight. They couldn’t stop laughing at me as my red suit was covered in snow!
The reindeer are going to play a game of hoof hockey this afternoon, and it’s always a sight to see! I can’t wait to get a front-row seat. Mrs. Claus is making me an extra large mug of hot chocolate to keep me warm while I watch. I’m going to ask her to put in extra marshmallows this time!
We’ve been busy here at the North Pole getting ready for our big trip around the world. Rudolph and I are almost finished mapping our Christmas Eve route, and since you’ve been so good this year, Anna, he says that Maryland will be one of our first stops! We’re all very excited to visit your home and see your beautiful Christmas decorations.
The elves also are busy in their workshop making toys for all the good little boys and girls. Every toy is fun-tested by the elves to make sure children will love playing with their gifts on Christmas morning! The elves always want to work in the toy-testing room. It’s my favorite part of the workshop, too. Anna, I want you to know that I watched the elves test one of your presents today, and I know you’ll love it!
I must say goodbye for now, dear Anna. Remember to go to bed early on Christmas Eve so you will be sound asleep when I arrive in Maryland.
Love,
Santa
