Colonial / Pilgrim Boy Child

Colonial / Pilgrim Boy Child

Style #R10051

The first settlers to North America had a difficult time setting up their civilizations and finding a way to survive a foreign land, but by the mid to late 18th century, the colonies of American became self functioning and populous regions. The Colonial Boy Child Costume features a dark brown vest with attached cream colors sleeves, a matching pair of dark brown breeches, a cream colored jabot with lace trim, and a black tricorn hat. Colonial men and women became increasingly successful craftspeople who could make several fine items and create towns, counties, and governments that could rule themselves. As time passed, disputes between colonists and Great Britain intensified and resulted in the Revolutionary War that brought about America's freedom. This costume would make for a fun and unique Halloween party costume and also serve as an outfit for colonial life reenactments, Revolutionary War events, and patriotic holidays.
