Flying Monkey in the Middle

What You'll Need:

• A stuffed terrier dog that looks like Toto.

1. Ask the children to form a big circle.
2. Start the game by asking the birthday child to stand in the middle of the circle. They are now the first "Flying Monkey."
3. Hand one of the children in the circle the stuffed animal.
4. When you say go, Toto will be air born! Ask the children to toss Toto back and forth to each other.
5. The Flying Monkey should try to catch Toto.
6. Once Toto is caught, whoever tossed it last goes to the middle and becomes the next Flying Monkey. The old Flying Monkey joins the circle.
7. Continue playing this game for about 30 minutes or until the children want to play something different.
