Pin the Tail on Maximus

You Will Need:

  • Braids of yellow, yarn Alternative: yellow construction paper
  • A large sheet of white craft paper
  • Scotch tape or Double-sided tape
  • Markers
  • Scissors
  • Blindfold or bandana

Before The Party:
  • Use a marker to draw a large picture of Maximus from Disney's Tangled on the white craft paper. You may also opt to print out a large picture from the Internet or use an online image as reference while you are drawing.
  • Braid several lengths of yellow yarn, streamers, or curling ribbon together to make 'tails". Affix tape to one end of each 'tail". You can tie different colored ribbons around the end of the 'tails" so your guests can remember which 'tail" they used. You may also choose to cut tail shaped pieces out of construction paper instead.
  • Hang your Maximus poster on a wall at a height your guests can reach comfortably.

How to Play:

Give each guest a 'tail". When it is their turn to play, blindfold the guest and spin them around a few times. Have the guest walk forward with their 'tail" in one hand and place it where they think Maximus's tail is. The player who places his or her tail closest to the one drawn on the poster wins. You can give all the guests a participation prize, or award the winner something special!
