Ribbon or pre-made bows (you may also cut a bow shape out of construction paper)
Party mounting tape
Before the Party:
Draw a large picture of Olivia on a sheet of craft or poster paper. Use Olivia books or online images as a reference. Draw 1 bow on each of her ears. This bow will be the target of your pin game.
Cut out your image of Olivia and attach it to a wall at arm level of your party guests using mounting tape.
Cut several circles out of white construction paper and number them with a marker so there are enough for each guests.
Tie bows out of red ribbon or use pre-made bows. Attach double-sided mounting tape to the back of each bow. Attach the number circles to the front with tape or a pin. (You can also attach personalized Olivia buttons in place of number circles for this activity. Use them as party favors after the game!)
At the Party:
Assign each guest a numbered bow to attempt to pin on one of Olivia's ears.
Each guest takes a turn trying to stick their bow onto the bow on the Olivia wall picture.
Blindfold the each guest on their turn. You can spin older guests around in a circle 3 times before pointing them toward the Olivia wall picture.
Instruct the guest whose turn it is to place the bow on the wall picture without using their free hand or feeling around on the wall.
Once each guest has had a turn, the player who put their bow closest to the bow drawn on the wall picture is the winner! Optionally, you may give out a small gift to the winner or give everyone a prize for participating.
